Some of these books, maybe half, were books on tape that I listened to rather than read with my own eyes, but I am counting them anyway. It is very pleasant to listen to books while I drive or when I am doing housework or dishes. A book on tape is good company. I encourage all my children to read, read, read (or listen).

DUDE, Mom, check out your list! I try to read a book a month, so I'm really impressed with your list going on and on. Plus there's some really good books on there, like Prey books and "To Kill a Mockingbird!" I hope by the end of this year I can have a list like yours.
Kjersti, you forgot to mention how great the Harry Potter books are!! :) And mom, I am so glad that you liked the Devil Wears Prada book on tape that I got you! I can't believe your list! I bet I didn't read half that many this year!! Good job!
Wow, Mom!! That is one long list! The question is, did you keep track along the way, or did you have to go back and figure all that out?
I am impressed with how much you love learning, Mom. You and Dad have always been great examples of always wanting to know/learn more. :) Good luck making your list this year!
Can I borrow The Devil Wears Prada?
I've only read 28 books total since I graduated from college 3-1/2 years ago. Granted, I've been in medical school since then, but PLEASE! You ROCK at reading, little momma!
I seem to have much better luck in collecting books instead of actually reading them. I must get that from Mom. If I didn't buy anymore books (which would be impossible) and read a book a week of the ones that I already have it would take me about 61 years or so to read them all. Unfortunately at the rate I'm going it would probably take me more like 266 years to read them all. I'm pretty sure I'm not going to live that long, so I have also made a New Year's resolution to read more and watch less TV. And hey, if you ever run out of books, my library is always open to family. Nolana
